Various - Berlin Strings 4x3"CDr (Absinth, 2004)

The second (?) in a series documenting young experimental artists working in Berlin. Unsurprisingly, I've not heard of any of these names, but I suppose that that's the point. Each artist approaches "strings" in a different fashion: some use stringed instruments as source material, some as main instruments, others as an element of a larger process. In any case, the main watchword here, as is the case in most contemporary experimentation, DECONSTRUCTION.

Enjoy?
GP.

Just want to say thanks for posting this. Andrea is great. She carried a piano sound board across Europe with another composer and documented her travels.
